Terms of Use

Last updated: October 20, 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of EasyU, including easyu.ca, its sub-domains and our ledger-migration tool (together, the “Service”), operated by Sheng Qian Plus Corp. together with Sheng Qian CPA (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that business.

1. The Service

EasyU is an online platform through which we provide bookkeeping, payroll, financial-statement, tax and related services to our clients. Professional services are also governed by the engagement letter between you and Sheng Qian CPA; if these Terms conflict with your engagement letter, the engagement letter prevails.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own business purposes during your engagement with us. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Keep your sign-in credentials confidential and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.
  • Provide information that is accurate and complete, and that you have the right to share with us.
  • Review the deliverables we prepare before relying on or filing them.

4. Connected third-party software

If you authorize us to connect to third-party software such as QuickBooks Online, you allow us to read the data described in our Privacy Policy to migrate your records into EasyU and to provide tax preparation, filing, analysis and reporting services to you. You may disconnect at any time. Third-party software is governed by its own terms; we are not responsible for its availability or accuracy. EasyU is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Intuit Inc.; QuickBooks is a trademark of Intuit Inc.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of your business data. We use it only to provide the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy. You may request a copy of your records at any time.

6. Fees

Fees for the Service are set out in your engagement letter or the pricing we provide to you.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is”. Software tools, including AI-assisted features, produce drafts that are reviewed by our professionals; except as stated in your engagement letter, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are breached or our engagement ends. Record-retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy continue after termination.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
