Ledger migration

Moving your books to EasyU? With your permission, our team can read your existing records directly from QuickBooks Online and bring your full history into EasyU — chart of accounts, journal entries, trial balances, sales-tax settings, customers and vendors — so nothing has to be re-keyed.

How it works

• Your Sheng Qian CPA accountant starts the connection and sends you (or completes with you) the authorization step.
• You sign in to your accounting software and approve read access for the company you are moving.
• We read the records, check that every year agrees to your trial balance, and import them into EasyU.
• We then use your records to prepare and file your tax returns and to prepare financial analysis and reports for you.
• You can keep the connection so we can refresh your records when needed, or disconnect at any time.

What we access

Read-only access to accounting data. Our tool never creates, changes or deletes anything in your accounting software. Details of how we handle the data are in our Privacy Policy.

Disconnecting

In QuickBooks Online go to Settings → Apps (or Manage apps), find “EasyU Ledger Migration” and choose Disconnect. You can also email scott.tang@sqcpa.ca and we will revoke access for you.
